Domaine Nadine Ferrand Saint Veran, 2017: 1ha between Pouilly and Davaye. Sweet golden delicious apples on the nose and pastry notes. Palate has some marzipan, peach and salted butter, with a nice green finish.
Fento Wines La Liebre ya la Tortuga, 2018: The soil is slightly heavier and the diurnal temperature difference more gentle leading to a rounder, more supple style of Albariño that nevertheless has all the grape's zesty, citrus and grassy appeal.
Vette di San Leonardo Sauvignon Blanc, 2018: Somewhere between Loire Valley Sancerre and a classy New Zealand Sauvignon but with so much of it's own character and a wonderful texture.
Clemens Busch Riesling Trocken, 2018: A beautiful nose of pear, mirabelle, grapefruit and white peach. The wine is nicely smooth and delicately zesty on the palate and leaves a great feel of herbs and spices
Villa Sparina Gavi di Gavi DOCG, 2018: The Gavi di Gavi is a great classic obtained from the Cortese grapes, a lively, fresh and fruity white. The unusual and beautiful amphora-shaped bottle also makes it an excellent gift and a fun bottle to bring to the dinner party.
Lavradores de Feitoria Douro Branco, 2017: Very fresh and aromatic, with a vibrant nose of fresh citrus, apricot and pineapple. A classic Douro white with good minerrality supported by flavours of ripe orchard and stone fruits.
