Organic and Vegetarian/Vegan wines: what’s the fuss?

Most of us like the idea of impacting the environment less. Many of us are vegetarian or vegan. Others like our wines full-blooded and don’t worry about how it was made. In this tasting from award-winning wine club Honest Grapes, Nathan Hill will explain sustainability in wine, what makes wines vegan, what’s meant by organic, biodynamic and ‘natural’ wines and whether it matters!

Your ticket price includes tastings of at least 7 wines and a selection of Italian cheeses, salamis and bread/crackers.  If you can’t make the tasting, but would just like to buy wines and join the club, we’ll have a pop-up shop from 19:30, with wine available by the glass so you can join in anyway.

Wines included (provisional):

  • A crisp Spanish white
  • A wild and wonderful natural wine from South Africa
  • German dry Riesling from Clemens Busch, one of the world’s top biodynamic winemakers.
  • Argentinean Malbec from a small cooperative producer
  • Classic Loire red, smooth and silky
  • Australian garage wine from cult surfer biker Taras Ochota
  • Top notch Rhone red

+ (if there enough of us) a special bonus bottle for you to sample
