On the East side of the Andes mountains, in the Mendoza region, just north of the Mendoza River, lie some privileged vineyards, benefiting from their own micro-climate. One of these, in the Coquimbito area of Maipú, is the family-run Bodega Tempus Alba, now on its fifth generation of winemakers.
This vineyard also specializes in cloning vines. A modern trend in wine-making to get the best vines possible in the vineyard.
If you happen to be passing, pop in for a tour and end up on the beautiful terrace for a lunch and wine tasting.
The merlot is a great example of the Biondolillo family’s dedication to producing great wines.
