Bordeaux 2020 - Château Palmer

Bordeaux 2020 - Château Palmer
The Château was named after a British officer, Major General Palmer, who settled in Bordeaux in 1814 (however as a result of his extravagant lifestyle he had to give it up 30 years later).

The 55 hectare vineyard, today managed by Thomas Duroux, is planted with 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Merlot (an unusually high percentage) and 6% Petit Verdot. It's situated just next door to Château Margaux, and some argue that Palmer can produce wines of equal (or even better) quality than its neighbour.
