Pasta all’Arrabbiata

What to drink with... Pasta all'Arrabbiata.

Arrabbiata means “angry”: hopefully not your reaction to this spicy, garlic, tomato and chili pepper sauce.

A smooooth red will marry well with this dish as it will calm any spiciness so try a Merlot, Chianti or Primitivo (same grape variety as Zinfandel). If you prefer a white, then we have a super fresh Falanghina from Campania in Italy or an Italian blend of Friulano, Gewürz, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc – the intense aromas and fruitiness of this wine will tone down the spiciness of the sauce.
