Château de Villeneuve Saumur Champigny
Almost like a raspberry ripple ice cream.
In the shadow of the steeple of the fifteenth century Romanesque church, the vineyards of the Château de Villeneuve are known for both their exposure and the limestone soil which gives the wine elegance and finesse.
This Saumur Champigny, from a certified organic vineyard, has a vivid velvet red/blue hue and bright fresh red fruit notes on the nose. The palate is clean and pure, with lots of silky red fruit, almost like a raspberry ripple ice cream. Fruit-forward nose, supple tannins, full-bodied mouth.
Enjoy this delightful Cabernet Franc with roast chicken, or grilled pork steaks or simply on it's own. A great alternative to Pinot Noir

These lovely wines and gifts are stored in our cellar in Clapham, ready for immediate dispatch (and drinking)! If we have less than 12 bottles, the display will show the number available today. If you’d like more than the number shown, or it’s shown as ‘Out of Stock’ / ‘Email to order’, just call us or drop us an email to confirm your order and delivery schedule, as our winemakers send us fresh stocks frequently.
Fast Delivery takes 1-3 working days and costs £12.50 for orders under £75. Orders over £75 are subject to Fast & FREE Delivery.
Same Day Delivery London is available to most London postcodes as listed in our T&Cs, if ordered by 11am Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). For orders over £75 London Same Day, delivery is charged at £15. For orders under £75 London Same Day, delivery is charged at £27.50. If ordered after 11am, you will receive your order on the next working day. We may be able to organise a speedy courier for you, so please call or email us if you have special requests. What a great way to get that wine to your office or home for the evening!
Saturday Delivery costs £30. This option is available to all UK mainland postcodes for orders placed between 1pm on Thursday and 1pm on Friday. This is optional at checkout, to be chosen in place of our standard 1 – 3 working day service. If you specifically need to place an order for Saturday delivery outside of the above times, please contact us at orders@honestgrapes.co.uk and we will see if we can arrange this for you.
CLUB OFFERS
Our Club Offers may take longer to ship, as we collect all of our members’ orders together before ordering them from the winemaker. The expected delivery timelines for each product should be specified on the product page. Otherwise, please contact us for the information. INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
International deliveries are subject to international delivery fees specific for each country, which will be added at checkout based on the country of your delivery address.
