Frerejean Frères Premier Cru Brut, NV: A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir aged for a minimum of five years, producing an elegant Champagne that embodies the richness of the Frerejean Frères terroir. Low dosage and late disgorgement mean that it’s both balanced and generous.
Pic and Chapoutier Saint Péray 2017: A fascinating discovery from the Rhône Valley. Voluptuous, rich and dry, with a sultry power that pairs well with the bold flavours of rich sauces on fish and chicken or turkey.
Château Teyssier 2016: "The 2016 Teyssier has turned out beautifully. Soft, floral and silky, the 2016 Teyssier is a terrific introduction to the vintage. Sweet dark cherry, plum, mocha, espresso and spice are nicely lifted in this suave, supple Saint-Émilion. Bright, floral notes appear on the finish to add perfume and lift..." 91/100 Antonio Galloni, Vinous
Corvus Ala Negra Malbec Reserva 2007: This is a fabulous, lip-smacking Malbec. Made from 80-year-old vines, then oak and bottle-aged, it has a dark-fruit intensity and a long, spicy finish with vanilla and chocolate undertones. A seriously big, but balanced mouthful.
Gonzalez Byass Leonor Palo Cortado: On the nose intense and complex with typical amontillado notes such as hazelnuts perfectly balanced with other aromas such as bitter orange and mature oak. On the palate powerful and intense with toasted notes yet smooth and silky.
Château Climens Cyprès de Climens (375ml), 2012: This wine has a spring-like character, a gushing temperament. On the nose you will find white flowers, mint, lime blossom, citrus fruit, apricot and spices. Very fleshy and fresh in the mouth. A great Barsac wine!
