Dal Bello Don Gallo Prosecco

Treviso, Veneto, Italy

Other Sparkling

This luxury, artisan Prosecco makes a refreshing change to the sometimes mundane and simply bland commercial styles. A dry, refreshing all-purpose aperitivo and pleasant accompaniment to light lunches. Fully sparkling with a fine mousse, fine floral aromatics and ripe but fresh fruit on the tangy palate. A simply delicious drop!

"Dry, elegant and weighty, it’s a refreshing aperitivo and pleasant accompaniment to light lunches. Fully sparkling with a fine mousse, or froth, this is a real cut above."
Stacey Smith, The Independent

Dal Bello

Neither sickly nor sharp, our Prosecco shows the balance that ensures it tastes as good at home as when enjoyed in the bars of Venice.

Lively but elegant, as enjoyed by Venetian builders at 11am and thus the reason for the city’s steady disintegration. Great as a Bellini with fresh peach puree.

As our new star Prosecco and winner of an award from the Independent, we decided to hold a taste-off against several other Proseccos we had in the office. The Dal Bello is dry, voluptuous and classy, with lovely weight and some pretty lemon sherbet tones. This is a real artisan prosecco, with none of the dilute elderflower fizz of supermarket stuff. I’d drink it with canapés and salads. No wonder the Independent voted it Best Buy.

Dal Bello

This is the philosophy of the Dal Bello family, who has been producing wines in the picturesque hills of Asolo for many years now. In this generous Venetian land, the mild climate, the optimal altitude and the ideal sun exposure, provide the vine with the perfect habitat for the production of a great product. The winery Dal Bello was funded by Vittorio in the fifties and is now run by his sons Mario and Antonio, who were able to combine winemaking traditional values with new technologies, obtaining high quality wines, as enjoyed by Venetian builders at 11am and this probably responsible for the city’s steady disintegration.
