Creamy Dolcelatte
What to drink with... creamy Dolcelatte.
This is a blue-veined Italian soft cheese made from cow’s milk. Its name means ‘sweet milk’ in English. Apparently made for the British market as a milder version of Gorgonzola.
A hearty red with some complexity would be a fine companion. A blend from Navarra, Spain is one of our favourites: Emilio Varerio Laderas de Montegjurra. Or stick to Italian wines with our Fattoria di Sammontana Chianti DOCG or our Tenute Fiorebelli Cabaletta Roso della Venezie. If your Dolcelatte is part of a platter, head for our delicious Champagne.
