In 2000 the Romero-Marcuzzi family purchased an additional vineyard with a view to creating a premium winery producing small amounts of high quality wines.
The old vineyard was brought up to date with heavy investment in both technology and infrastructure, whilst restoring the 50 year-old Torrontés and Tannat vineyards.
Porvenir means the future or what is to come. The estate is in the Cafayate area of the Andean region: the highest fine wines in the world.
The Laborum range of wines comes from the Latin “from work” and the care and attention given to these wines by Lucia Romero-Marcuzzi and her team is obvious.
