We always like to be innovating here at Honest Grapes and as we tentatively emerge from lockdown we recognise that there may be some of our clients that want to taste wines amongst real live people whilst others feel more comfortable tasting from their own home via Zoom.

As such we have decided to host our first hybrid tasting event where we will be offering the opportunity to come and physically join us at the wonderful wine members club 67 Pall Mall to taste the wines in a covid secure fashion, but we will also be offering to send out samples of the wines to those that prefer to remain at home or for whom coming into London isn’t feasible.

What better wine to showcase at our first hybrid event than the renowned wines of Daumas-Gassac, often referred to as the first growth of the Languedoc. The Guibert family founded the Mas de Daumas Gassac estate in 1971 on a historical farm with a unique terroir which creates the world-famous red.

Joining us via Zoom will be Samuel Guibert who will be leading us through a range of the domaine's wines, including the great 2018 Mas de Daumas Gassac red, an intriguing blend of Cabernet Sauvignon along with a mix of Grenache, Cinsault and Tempranillo, as well as the 2019 Mas De Daumas Gassac Blanc - a similarly fascinating blend of grape varieties, with Chardonnay and Viognier taking centre stage.

For those that are able to join at the physical event at 67 Pall Mall we will also be serving the Rose Frizante along with some of the Guibert family’s newest range of single varietal wines from the region, including their Viognier and Merlot.

So please join us in making our first hybrid event a resounding success as well as getting acquainted with these beguiling wines.
