Gosset

Gosset
Champagne Gosset is the oldest wine house in Champagne, founded in Aÿ in 1584. From the long standing partnerships they have with their growers to the extended ageing of the wines in the cellar, these differences are evident throughout the entire champagne and produce champagne in the classic “Gosset style”, a style of champagne which is dry yet creamy, full-bodied, rich and biscuity. The making process also separates Gosset from the larger mainstream brands on the market today. The Gosset team’s insistence that Gosset champagnes are wines which happen to sparkle is reflected by the growing number of Gosset fans, many of whom comment that although they don’t usually like champagne, they love Gosset! 2010 saw the Grande Réserve win the prestigious ‘Grappe d’Or’ award from the leading Wine Guide ‘Le Guide Hachette des Vins’, following a tasting of almost 36,000 still wines and 2,000 champagnes
