Wine with a garnet colour with purple highlights. Nose with an intense aromatic expression of black fruits but also spices. Concentrated mouth with full-bodied tannins. Fruity flavour with a slightly peppery finish. Powerful wine with still young tannins that will accompany grilled meats or in sauce.
IPSUM means itself in Latin. The traditional method in Bordeaux is blending, however, our wish is also to create single-varietal cuvées, hence IPSUM, an offbeat collection. Here is a 100% Merlot natural wine, one of the most common grape varieties in Bordeaux wines. Without added sulphur, the fruity aromas preserved in the wine.
