Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this English sparkling rosé embodies the essence of sophistication. Its vibrant pink hue entices the eye, while delicate aromas of red berries and floral notes seduce the nose. Upon tasting, the palate is treated to a symphony of flavours, including ripe strawberries, raspberries, and hints of citrus. The fine bubbles dance on the tongue, creating a lively and refreshing experience.

With its well-balanced acidity and a lingering, crisp finish, Black Chalk Sparkling Rosé is the perfect companion for any celebration or special occasion.

What the critics say:

17.5/20Tamlyn Currin, Jancis Robinson

"Pale pink. Peaches, lime-and-cherry sherbet, white pepper and stone dust. Very delicate, fragrant, understated, but don't mistake that for neutrality. This is a wine with a strong sense of its chalk terroir and very much bearing the signet imprint of Black Chalk in its fine, long-boned, mineral-encrusted character. As the wine develops and warms in the glass, the fruit moves more and more into the blue spectrum, developing very pretty streaks of cassis and ripe mulberry liqueur, finishing chalky and long into blackcurrant-bud freshness. Leadley's Wild Rose seems to deepen and become more beautiful and intense as it gets older. One of the most exciting English sparkling rosés on the market. Is this because they are holding it back and giving it more bottle age? If so, it's working."

92/100Sylvia Wu, Decanter

"Citrus blossom, red apple and cranberry on the nose. Ripe red summer berries, lemon and grapefruit on the textured palate, thanks to 18 months of ageing on lees. The dosage is at 10g/l, offset by crisp acidity at 8g/l. Hints of salted blood orange and nuts on the finish."
