The Gravascal comes from one such plot: just 0.73 hectares in the northeast corner of the estate. Here, Malbec vines sink their roots into soils where massive gravels and granite rocks emerge only half a meter below the surface, creating a wine that is both unique and unrepeatable.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eZuccardi’s story began in the 1960s, when Alberto “Tito” Zuccardi planted vines not to make wine but to demonstrate an irrigation system he had devised.
