This wine is offered En Primeur, with an est. delivery in late 2024/early 2025.

2022 was Guillaume’s second year farming organically, and a little less challenging than 2021. He harvested on 1st September keen to ensure his wines had moderate acidity and balanced alcohol, (pH is 3.5 and ABVs generally around 12.5%) giving the supple, digestible style he advocates.

“A Gevrey made by a Vosne producer”, from a vineyard on the north side of the village planted in 1958.
Focused, intense nose, hedgerow strawberries smashed on stones, with light touches of earth, rose petals, five spice and tapenade. Good minerality drives a perfumed elegant, sweet red fruit fruit core, with lightly herbal tannins pushing the plush, spicy fruit along."
Tom Harrow, Head Wine Guru

What the critics say:

90-92/100Allen Meadows, Burghound

"Here too the pretty and layered nose of black cherry, plum and newly turned earth is exuberantly fresh and a bit more floral-inflected as well. There is fine volume and mid-palate density to the punchy medium-bodied flavors that conclude in a lingering if youthfully austere finish that offers a bit more depth. This is a very fine Gevrey villages and definitely recommended. 'Outstanding'"
