This wine is offered En Primeur, with an est. delivery in late 2024/early 2025.

2022 was Guillaume’s second year farming organically, and a little less challenging than 2021. He harvested on 1st September keen to ensure his wines had moderate acidity and balanced alcohol, (pH is 3.5 and ABVs generally around 12.5%) giving the supple, digestible style he advocates.

“A 55-old vineyard very near Vosne Romanée, and a classic example of this region over-delivering on its more modest price point.
Spicy and floral, bright nose, very pinot, bountiful red fruits, cranberry led, and a touch of sandalwood. Sappy red fruits on the palate, which is fresh with crunchy tannins.”
Tom Harrow, Head Wine Guru

What the critics say:

86-88/100Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy

"A fine clean even purple. The bouquet is attractively perfumed yet fresh rather than overtly ripe. Fresh raspberry, quite firm in both tannin and acidity, good long finish, just a little wood showing at the back. Needs longer. Drink from 2025-2028. Tasted: October 2023."

86-88/100Allen Meadows, Burghound

"Bright, fresh and airy aromas of both red and dark pinot fruit are trimmed in discreet earth hints. There is good vibrancy to the delicious middleweight flavors that are shaped by fine-grained tannins on the lightly stony and dusty but not really austere finale. To enjoy after a few years of keeping."
