Bordeaux is known for its traditional blends and Siozard are known for their love of Bordeaux; the way twin brothers Laurent and David showcase their love of Bordeaux is through their respect for tradition with unique approaches.Their IPSUM range, titled after the word meaning ‘itself’ in Latin is made up of single varietal cuvees; each wine showcasing the grape on its own, delivering classically Bordeaux results through ingenious Siozard techniques.
This is an 100% natural Merlot with no added sulfur; this most respected Bordeaux grape is hand harvested on Siozard’s estate which is in the process of converting to fully organic processes. Without sulfur, the fruity aromas of the wine are preserved and lead into a rounded wine with silk tannins and flavours of crunchy red berries and juicy dark plums.
