Wine Guru Will's Christmas Case

For my Christmas case I like to draw from wines made from some of my favourite grapes from some very interesting places.

A beautiful, textures sparkling from North Macedonia to kick off the day followed by two very contrasting whites; a full bodied Fernao Pires from Tejo, not too unlike a rich Viognier or Chardonnay, and an off dry Chenin from the Loire.

My reds are great winter warmers - something special from Ukraine, the inky Odessa Black grape is intense and spicy, and the full and rich Mavrud from the always impressive Villa Melnik makes a perfect festive wine. Finally a sensational 2016 Barolo to round out the selection.
