The Fratelli Casetta Winery is located in the North East of Italy in the Piedmont region - a land with the finest wine making where excellent red and white wines are always produced. Their Vineyards (40 hectares) are located on the Langa and Roero, a paradise of hills and vines on slopes both steep and gentle, with strong soil and a dry climate, giving positive effects especially during ripening.

Produced in Piedmont, Italy and made out of 100% Nebbiolo it was aged for two years in Slavonian large oak barrels and has been developing nicely in bottle ever since.

"A really nice ruby colour with garnet hints, the nose initially is full of intense red cherries and berries which then evolves into prunes, dried herbs, leather, tar and earth. There’s still a good structure here with ample acidity and soft tannins. Very tasty indeed. I would high advise drinking Barbaresco with food - try with steaks, duck, dishes with tomato based sauces, roast lamb and mature cheeses." Angus, wine Guru
