Conversely to the Close Plant Pinot Noir, Timo sources the grapes for this cuvee from a less densely planted part of his Bloody Hill vineyard, which provide higher yields. This stands out as one of the only wines where he doesn’t use whole bunch fermentation. As a result, the wine is a fresh fruit driven Pinot, balanced by clear freshness, which is as easy to drink now or in decades to come, such is its ageability.
