Curto Barolo Arborina
really sexy, juicy and round, supple but taut.
- Piedmont, Italy
Curto is a traditional family-run winery now on its third generation and have been producing some cracking wines, by paying a lot of attention to the winemaking and great respect for tradition.
"Young, lively garnet red, with aging acquires orange reflections. On the palate intense, ethereal, spicy with hints of rosehip petals, fruity and balsamic notes, cocoa, hay and truffle. Warm, austere, full, robust and at the same time velvety and elegant. When young it is appreciated for its freshness even if with some angularity, with the refinement the wine softens and develops the warmer and spicy tertiary sensations." Curto
"Rich, powerful nose, 2 years barrique, but not new, really sexy, juicy and round, supple but taut." Tom Harrow
