"The 2013 Chambolle-Musigny has a tightly-knit bouquet with strawberry pastille scents emerging from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, quite sturdy in the mouth with a mixture of black and red fruit on the inward-looking finish..." 88-90 points, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate
  •   Cote de Nuits, Burgundy, France
  •   Smooth Red
  •   Pinot Noir
  •   2013

Romain Taupenot is the seventh generation of his family to be involved in viticulture, although this specific domaine was founded as recently as 1963 by his father, Jean Taupenot, who had married Denise Merme. With vineyards from both sides of the family the domaine now features 18 different appellations, with vineyards in both the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits. Romain has been in charge of winemaking since 1998 and has overseen a move into the top echelons of domaine hierarchy.
