Kosher wine is produced according to Judaism's religious law and specifically, Jewish dietary laws. For a wine to be able to be called kosher, a Rabbi or a Sabbath-observant Jew must supervise the winemaking process from start to finish. There has been an increased demand for Kosher wines over recent years and we have brought some excellent wines onto our list. The Falesco Montiano is Falescos flagship wine and has acclaimed since its in inception and is one of the most innovative Italian red wines. The Falesco Marciliano scored 90 points from Wine Spectator who notes "...Elegant and finely knit overall, layering supple tannins with flavours of blackcurrent, pomegranate and spice box..." Another great Italian red is the 100% Montepulciano, Botteotto d'Abruzzo which has an very intense nose of brambleberry and dark-cherry compote and raspberry coulis, and has garnered 90 points from James Suckling. At last but by no means at least, a staple at Honest Grapes, Chateau Teyssier, 2019 (delivery 2021) which is one of our top picks and best value reds. A new Kosher Italian mixed case has just been created where you can get 2 x Botteotto, Marciliano and Montiano - please find it here.
