Champagne Pol Couronne Brut, NV: Recently featured in The Independent as the IndyBest Champagne. "Refreshing and lively with a chiselled limestone structure and grapefruit acidtiy" Stacy Smith, The Independent.
Château Pesquié Terrasses Blanc, 2019: "Easily one of my favourite estates from the up-and-coming Ventoux region, Chateau Pesquie is run by the talented brothers, Alexandre & Frederic Chaudiere. The wines sell for a song, yet always deliver high-quality, loads of character and impeccably made profiles." Jeb Dunnuck
Domaine Nadine Ferrand Macon Blanc, 2018: Lovely honeysuckle and honeycomb notes, white flowers and a touch of cinnamon dusted melon and tropical fruits on the nose. Juicy and succulent but a rich vein of fresh acidity and great crunchy apple finish. This is a very good entrée de gamme Macon.
Castello Romitorio RomiTORO, 2018: "The Castello Romitorio 2018 RomiTòro is made with equal parts Syrah and Petit Verdot, all aged in oak for 10 months. This edition opens to an inky dark appearance followed by a thick and succulent texture. It offers a certain firmness to the tannins and a thinner spot on the mid-palate that thickens quickly as the wine hits the palate. Dark plum, prune and blackberry emerge at the top. Lighter notes of spice, smoke and tar also appear. Pair this wine with your favorite steak dinner [...] RomiTòro is one of the great value wines to emerge from Tuscany." 93+ pts, Monica Larner, WA
Varner Foxglove Zinfandel, 2016: "The 2016 Zinfandel is a fresh, fruity wine to drink now and over the next few years. Juicy black cherry, leather, spice, menthol and cedar add character to this exuberant, racy Zinfandel. This is an especially floral, mid-weight style." Antonio Galloni, Vinous
Henschke Henry's Seven, 2016: "Spice, tea and dried herb notes make for an aromatic opening to the core of tight berry, cherry and cranberry relish flavors. Detailed and aromatic through to the end, which shows precision and elegance." 92/100, Wine Spectator
