Wine Shop - Sommelier Selection - Château Léoville Barton

Château Léoville Barton

The St. Julien estate was purchased by Hugh Barton in 1826, and continues to be owned by the Barton family - which makes it the longest continuous duration of ownership by the same family in Bordeaux.

The current owner Anthony Barton began running the estate in 1983, along with its sister property Château Langoa Barton. He produces traditional, beautifully balanced Bordeaux 2e cru classé wines with plenty of structure and solid tannins.
