A pleasurable parcel from us to you to help keep you cosy this winter:
Château Trébiac Rouge, 2017: "Dry but also fruity, this wine that will soon be delicious comes from vineyards once owned by Franciscan nuns and maintained by the de Butler family. When the balance kicks in, the acidity and the bright spicy character will go well with the black-currant fruits." 90 points, Wine Enthusiast
Graham's 10 Year Old Tawny Port: Deep golden amber with complex orange peel and cinnamon aromas with prunes, raisins and figs. A full and generous flavour with a long, clean finish. Pairs perfectly with creamy or fruity desserts that compliment, such as almond tart and crème brulée. Serve chilled in a reasonably sized Port glass or white wine glass. It will stay fresh for four to six weeks once opened.
La Giaretta della Valpolicella Amarone Classico, 2016: "It's pure Black Forest Gateaux in the mouth with edges of cedar and a wonderful whack of creamy oak on the finish. Fine tannins, great structure and a lush quality to it. Once you've tried this wine you will be hooked!" Tom Harrow, Wine Guru
Prats and Symington Post Scriptum, 2018: Deep dark ruby colour. Attractive aromas of ripe prune and black cherry. Very full on the palate denoting great structure. Elegant tannins leaving a fresh and long tasting finish.
Poggio Argentiera, Podereadua, 2018: "Wow. A ripe gorgeous, ripe syrah with crushed-berry, spice, black-tea and dry-earth undertones. It’s medium-to full-bodied. Creamy, polished tannins on the palate. Flavorful and long." 94 pts, James Suckling
Clemens Busch Riesling Trocken, 2018: Tangy grapefruit and lime zest with mouthwatering salinity is balanced out with a yeasty creaminess that comes from extended lees contact. A refreshing classical elegance with a twist.
