The Burgundy Syndicate Trip

We are delighted to invite you to the Cote d'Or for our action-packed Syndicate trip, which will take place from 8th-10th November 2024. We will also have accommodation available the night before the trip on Thursday 7th November.

Thursday 7th November

• Individual travel to be arranged.
• Check in to your hotel. We will recommend local restaurants for the evening.

Friday 8th November

• Visit to Domaine De Montille for a tasting. Arrive at the family house/office in Volnay for an introduction and then head out to the Mersault winery for the tasting. The Domaine has been entrusted with the élévage of our 2019, 2020, 2022 & 2023 Hospice de Beaune barrels
• Visit to Philippe Pacalet to taste our favourite cuvées, across the range. We will also sample the exclusive Vosne-Romanée ‘Cuvée Honest Grapes’, our latest Syndicate Barrel, chosen especially for our members by Philippe.
• Enjoy RVF Negociant of the Year, Jane Eyre’s wines over lunch at the much-loved Hungry Cyclist Lodge in Auxey Duresses
• Tour of L’Hotel Dieu in Beaune – the site of the auction (note the auction is taking place the following weekend) and enjoy some free time to explore the beautiful Beaune - this is a good time to pick up your bottles for the Paulée Dinner
• Dinner at exclusive member’s club 1243 Bourgogne Society joined by Burgundy Wine Board President Laurent Delaunay

Saturday 9th November

• Tasting at Domaine du Hospice de Nuits Saint-Georges with Technical Director, Jean-Marc Moron
• Lunch time in Nuits Saint Georges at restaurant La Gentilhommière
• Wine tasting at Château de Charmont, over in the Haute Cote de Nuits, the home of Maison Edouard Delaunay
• Dinner at Luxury restaurant for our Paulée Dinner [BYOB]

Sunday 10th November

• Breakfast in hotel at own leisure
• Individual travel onwards or home

Pricing

Double or Twin room - £2,350 PP, Single Occupancy Room - £2,450. Prices are based upon accommodation for 3 nights at the Mercure, Beaune. Check-in Thursday 7th - Check-out Sunday 10th. B&B. Other activities in the itinerary are included along with a driver for travel each day. Travel to and from Burgundy is not included. Other hotel options are available on request, such as rooms and suites at Le Cedre or Le Cep.
