Charles farms the vineyards organically, whilst in the cellar, he follows the lunar cycle, allowing nature's rhythms to guide his winemaking. His guiding principle is let the terroir do the talking, and the wines are always beautifully expressive and elegant.

"The 2022 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru comes from a parcel of 50-year-old vines. It has a typical Perrières bouquet with crushed limestone infusing the citric fruit, maybe less entrancing than the Genevrières but well-defined. The palate is well-balanced with a lively entry, a taut line of acidity, and hints of egg whites and orange rind towards the peristent finish. Excellent. "
