Honest Grapes Wine Club offers members the opportunity to form crowdsourced syndicates which will purchase barrels of Burgundy at the Hospices de Beaune charity auction to be elaborated and bottled by a famous local winemaker. These are unique wines, with only a few hundred bottles produced, as masterpieces of Burgundian art. We have formed similar syndicates for every vintage since 2019 at the Hospices de Beaune and vintages 2020 through to 2023 at the Hospices de Nuits-Saint-Georges (the 2024 & 2025 vintages produced too few barrels).

2026 HOSPICES DE BEAUNE MEURSAULT 1ER CRU WHITE
£3,840 PER 12X75CL SHARE

  • Each share includes 9 litres equivalent (12x75cl) in your choice of preferred formats, including Magnums & Jeroboams at a premium, with a special label for Syndicate Members
  • Personalisation available from a ¼ barrel (72x75cl equivalent)
  • An 80% deposit (£3,072) secures your place in the Syndicate ahead of the Hospices auction, with the remaining balance adjusted once the final price is confirmed.

Wines from the 2026 vintage will be purchased at the auction on 15th November 2025 and will be ready for delivery in Q1 of 2029.  The auction price paid is somewhat uncertain, and whilst there are more barrels expected to be available for purchase this year, interest in Burgundy in general and the Hospices auction in particular remain at very high levels, hence we expect prices to remain buoyant.

We will organise events with Tom Harrow, Nathan Hill and the winemaker in London and Burgundy during the maturation period of the wine so that syndicate members can enjoy the fun of seeing the wine develop.

OUR GROWERS

Hospices de Beaune

In 1457, Jean Guillotte le Verrier set a precedent of generosity when he donated vines to the Hôtel-Dieu in Beaune, the hospital founded by Nicolas Rolin in 1443. That spirit of giving has carried on ever since.

Donating vines to the Hospices is more than symbolic—it’s a way of showing gratitude and helping to secure the institution’s future. Each donation becomes part of history, with the resulting wines, or cuvées, proudly bearing the names of their benefactors.
