Château De La Gardine, Brunel de la Gardine Hermitage, 2019
Tasted blind in HQ, the Château De La Gardine Brunel de la Gardine Hermitage 2019 is an aromatic powerful expression of a true Hermitage. With 6 years maturity, its meaty and structured with dark black fruits and woven grippy tannins. There is depth and balance here and after a few minutes opening up, the tannins soften down to coat the mouth. A powerhouse of a Hermitage that can easily age for another 10-15 years.

Bodega DiamAndes de Uco Malbec, 2016
Tasting the 2016 Bodega DiamAndes de Uco Malbec in HQ recently, this is Argentinean malbec at its finest which oozes personality. Picked from the heart of the Uco Valley and with the expertise of the renowned Château Malartic-Lagravière in Pessac-Léognan. Already with a few years bottle age, its seriously expressive licks of liquorice and violets on the nose and a harmonious balanced palette, structure and juicy backbone. Bountiful notes of blackcurrants, mocha and dark chocolate with supple tannins, it’s incredibly moreish!
