A benchmark expression of the famed Brézé terroir, this Saumur Blanc combines old-vine depth, crystalline minerality and remarkable tension, with the structure to age beautifully.

The 2023 shows Chenin in its most articulate form: citrus peel and wet stones wrapped around a core of honeyed richness, with acidity that cuts clean and true. Whilst drinking beautifully now we suspect it will reward patience, as the best Chenin always does.

Domaine Guiberteau

Romain Guiberteau took over his family's estate in 2006 and transformed it into one of Saumur's most respected addresses. He works with old-vine Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, farming organically and vinifying with minimal intervention to let the limestone terroir speak clearly. His approach is patient and precise, understanding that great Loire wines reveal themselves slowly.
