Collection: Maturing Teyssier 2015: 17 points from Jancis - the same as Pontet-Canet and Le Pin

Following the response to our latest JCP Maltus Le Dôme 2016 Syndicate — we've had to organise two trips to keep up with demand — Jonathan's team sent us a few bottles of Teyssier 2015 to try. Gosh. This is utterly gorgeous Bordeaux.

Jancis Robinson gives it 17 points — placing it alongside Pontet-Canet, Lynch-Bages, Le Pin, Cos d'Estournel, La Fleur-Pétrus, Les Forts de Latour, Beychevelle, Lafleur and Pichon Lalande in the same vintage. We weren't entirely surprised. Maltus is known for producing hedonistic, rich, deliciously forward wines, and this is one of his most enjoyable yet.

It was so delicious that we've ordered a few dozen cases on the spot, and most of the team are taking a case home to enjoy later this summer and into autumn.

At £225 a case of 12, including a 10% pre-order discount (down from £250), that's under £19 a bottle in bond. Bordeaux doesn't get a great deal more enjoyable than this; it just gets more refined.

Delivery this summer.
