Romain Guiberteau crafts some of the Loire's most compelling Chenin Blanc from his Saumur vineyards, where ancient limestone soils and meticulous viticulture create wines of remarkable tension and longevity.

This 'Le Bourg' cuvée comes from vines planted in the village itself, where the tuffeau chalk runs deepest and the wines speak with particular clarity.

The magnum format will reward patience, developing honeyed complexity whilst maintaining that signature Loire freshness until 2035.

Romain Guiberteau represents the new generation of Loire vignerons, taking over the family estate in 2006 and immediately shifting focus to minimal intervention winemaking. He works organically in the vineyard and uses only wild yeasts, crafting wines that express the limestone terroir of Saumur with remarkable purity. His approach has earned recognition as one of the region's most exciting young talents.
