Clemens and his wife Rita are a humble yet hugely respected duo, having built a cult following over the past 30 years for their incredibly precise, richly textured, and terroir-driven wines. In the world of Riesling, the Mosel is king, and their wines capture its essence like no other. The 2023 vintage offers a luminous character with floral notes, lively acidity, and remarkable aging potential. Produced biodynamically, and organically since 1984, it's a compelling choice for Riesling enthusiasts who appreciate a mineral-driven profile.

"The 2023 Pündericher Marienburg Fahrlay Grosses Gewächs is shy on the nose. Lemony yeast offers up some stoniness. The palate is just as strait-laced, almost austere. It is rather shy, with lemon and salt hinting at what will appear with time. This takes no prisoners with its clean-cut poise. Give it time. (Bone-dry) "

Delightfully juicy, with plenty of nooks and crannies to hide a bit of citrus sweetness, even something tropical like green pineapple. The shy acidity seems to hide in the shadows, its presence felt rather than seen. Elegant and firm contours, stony momentum. Goes on forever."

"Welcome to the white flower kingdom. Tremendous floral and Amalfi lemon beauty on the concentrated and very focused palate. Only medium-bodied, but with a dangerous energy and great expression, this stunning Mosel GG is just beginning to show what it can do. Very long, wet-stone finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Respekt certification. Drinkable now, but best from 2025."
