Situated in the heart of Puligny-Montrachet in Burgundy, Domaine Alain Chavy is a winery rooted in tradition and quality winemaking. The Chavy family has been tending to vineyards in Puligny-Montrachet for generations, passing down their knowledge and passion. Alain Chavy’s 7ha estate covers some of the most prestigious Puligny Village and Premier Cru sites (including the majestic Les Clavoillons, which he shares with Domaine Leflaive).

Whilst we represent a narrow selection of who Burgundy’s best and best value growers, we were so impressed by Alain Chavy’s wines when tasting them that we simply had to add them to the list! Stylistically the emphasis is on restraint and purity of fruit, freshness and focus, precision and tension, and the Domaine has quickly become a jewel in the heart of the appellation.

The Wine

The winemaking process at Domaine Alain Chavy strikes a balance between tradition and innovation. From hand-harvesting to gentle pressing and oak barrel ageing, each step is carried out with precision.

Domaine Alain Chavy's wines embody the essence of Burgundy. Whether it's the mineral-driven Chardonnay from Puligny-Montrachet or Meursault, these wines capture the region's character. The estate prioritises environmental sustainability, ensuring the land remains fertile for future generations.
