Few things bring us more joy than placing our next order with Veneto duo Francesco and Francesca Nicoli—the husband-and-wife team behind La Giaretta. Not only are they a pleasure to work with, but their impressive wine range remains one of the most rewarding and best-kept secrets in our portfolio.

Our relationship with La Giaretta began by chance over 15 years ago, when our Head Wine Guru, Tom, was wandering the halls of Vinitaly and got a tip from a Swiss importer to check them out. One taste was all it took—Tom was hooked. His cellar still holds bottles of their flagship Amarone “I Quadretti” dating back to the early 2000s.

We're now gearing up to bring in a small shipment, arriving in early autumn. The wines are already drinking beautifully, but as always with La Giaretta, their structure and depth mean they’ll age effortlessly for years.
