Les Fuées sits on the northern edge of Chambolle-Musigny, bordering Morey-Saint-Denis, and it shows — there's a little more structure here than you'd expect from the village's famously floral, silky reputation. Sigaut is a domaine that doesn't shout, but those who find it tend to stay loyal. Anne and Hervé farm their vines with quiet precision, and the wines have a purity and directness that feels entirely earned rather than engineered.

The 2021 is a lovely vintage for those who like their Burgundy with genuine freshness and definition. Red cherry, violet, a suggestion of forest floor, and that cool mineral quality that Les Fuées reliably delivers. The tannins are fine but present — this is a wine with a spine.
