Château Canet, Minervois Blanc, 2021

The Château Canet Minervois Blanc opens with lively aromas of zesty white grapefruit citrus and tropical notes of fresh pineapple. On the palate, it begins with a refreshing elegance, while a brief 3-week maturation in oak softens the finish, creating a well-rounded and balanced wine.

A rarity in the region, with only around 6% of Minervois wines being white, this blend of 50% Roussanne and 50% Bourboulenc is aged for 8 months in stainless steel, with a short "passage" in oak to refine its texture. The oak influence is subtle, adding a touch of smoothness without imparting any strong oak flavours, resulting in a beautifully balanced and soft wine.
