Join us on 30th June at Poon’s at Somerset House for an exciting evening of wines from historic Abruzzese producer Ciavolich.

We are delighted to welcome Roberto, Export Manager at Ciavolich, who will be hosting the tasting alongside the Honest Grapes team. Guests will have the opportunity to hear directly from Roberto about the estate’s long family history, its philosophy, and the modern evolution of winemaking in Abruzzo, while exploring a range of their most expressive wines.

Family-run since 1853, Ciavolich is one of Abruzzo’s most characterful estates, known for its expressive, terroir-driven wines made from native grapes and a thoughtful balance of tradition and innovation. Now led by Chiara Ciavolich, the estate captures the diversity of Abruzzo’s landscapes, from coastal vineyards to hillside sites in the Apennines.

Hosted in the atmospheric setting of Poon’s at Somerset House, the tasting will be informal, engaging and focused on discovery.

Following the tasting, guests are warmly encouraged to stay for dinner at Poon’s, and try the restaurant’s acclaimed Chinese cuisine, offering a great opportunity to explore the wines at the table. Please let us know in advance to book dinner.
