OUR GROWERS

Château La Yotte

Gustaf Lindskog and his family came to Bordeaux from Sweden in 2017 looking for a new home and a new challenge. They found a beautiful château with a derelict vineyard on the limestone slopes of Loupiac with something not encountered elsewhere in the region: Land with a completely clean chemical history. Not a single pesticide, herbicide or insecticide has ever touched this soil. Their family drinks from the well on the property.

Our Wine Director Tom Harrow has visited La Yotte several times and watched the developments in the vineyard with excitement. Recently Gustaf came to our office to taste with us the first vintages – 2023 and 2024. We have been talking about it ever since. This is, in our view, one of the most exciting new producers in Bordeaux — get in early.
