Whether crafting wines from the Côte-d'Or, Beaujolais, or her native Victoria, Jane's wines exude her distinct style—delicate and inviting, adorned with supple tannins and vibrant, luscious fruits.

Through gentle extraction techniques, thoughtful oak usage, and early bottling, Jane has created Burgundies that are accessible and appealing even in their early stages.

"Jane used a mix of new 300-litre barrels, alongside standard (older) 228-litre barrels for her signature village wine and 30% of whole bunches. ABV is 13%
Inky, red berry nose with a touch of linctus, violets and sandalwood which then shows an appealing balance of ripe red cherries, supple, herbal tannins and brisk acidity on the palate. This shows good development on the mid-palate with perfumed sweet plums around an insistent mineral spine. Harmonious and complete, textbook modern Gevrey."
Tom Harrow, Head Wine Guru

What the critics say:

90-92/100Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy

"Made from Jane’s usual plots, with 30% whole bunches, one new barrel in five. A lighter crimson purple with the elegant strawberry touch of many a Gevrey-Chambertin, savoury at the back, with a firmness that the fruit can manage. Dark strawberry at the finish. Drink from 2027-2034. Tasted: October 2023. ****."

Jane Eyre

When we first met Jane in 2015, we were amazed to hear that her wines didn’t have a presence in the UK (with a name like Jane Eyre, how could we resist bringing her wines to the UK market?). It’s been a real pleasure to see how her reputation has grown with accompanied critical acclaim from luminaries such as Jancis Robinson, Tim Atkin, and Neal Martin. More recently she received her RVF second star and was also awarded Negociant of the Year 2020.
