Wines from the Right Bank are stylistically richer and more hedonic than their Left Bank peers, with Merlot taking centre-stage. The best wines such as Cheval Blanc & Petrus are almost all from Saint-Émilion and Pomerol, and are typically produced in much smaller quantities.
