This week marks twelve years of Honest Grapes. In celebration, we've put together an exciting mixed case featuring some of our favourite producers we've worked with since we started.
Pol Couronne Brut NV has been our house pour for years, and I think it's one of the best-value Champagnes available, full stop. The Fromm Sauvignon Blanc 2023 came out of a trip around New Zealand and it shows the same structure and restraint as good Burgundy, but with the added generosity of New Zealand fruit. The Bourgogne Aligoté 'La Vigne du Professeur Feuillat' 2023 from Édouard Delaunay we liked so much we bought the entire 50-case production on the spot. Jane Eyre is a dear friend whose wines have consistently impressed Club Members and her Fleurie 'Vendanges Entières' 2022 is no exception, earning four stars from Jasper Morris. La Giaretta's Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore 2022 is a hidden gem I discovered at Vinitaly years ago. And Château Cissac 2019 anchors the case: 94 points from Markus del Monego MW, at £19.50 a bottle.
