Domaine de Montille is one of Burgundy’s most revered estates and this burgeoning family property is very much at the top of its game, producing wines of exceptional quality: scintillating, proper Burgundies, unusually across both reds and whites.
Named from the shrine atop the hill of Meursault, where so many of the appellation’s best vineyards are situated, this is a serious, impressive wine, blended from parcels in Casses-Tetes, and Petits Charrons – the latter being particularly limestone rich.
