Yarra Yering

Yarra Yering was established by Dr Bailey Carrodus in 1969 and is widely regarded as the Yarra Valley's founding estate for fine red wine. Carrodus was a meticulous, fiercely independent grower who farmed with minimal intervention long before it was fashionable. Since his passing in 2008 the estate has been guided by winemaker Sarah Crowe, who has maintained its rigorous, vineyard-first philosophy while bringing her own quiet brilliance to the cellar.
