This is a particularly important issue for us and our Club Members, and our pioneering work in reducing our carbon footprint has been recognised by the Drink Business’ Green Awards, where we were Green Retailer of the year in 2018 and 2020, and runner-up in 2019.
In advance of the Summit, we surveyed our members on the current state of the Bordeaux market and its future in the context of sustainability. We then shared the results of this survey on the evening of the Summit.
The panel comprised of the following stellar guests:
- Tom Harrow – Honest Grapes Co-Founder
- Nicolas Audebert – Chateau Director of Canon, Rauzan Segla & Berliquet
- Chloe Ashton – Wine Lister COO
- Gavin Quinney – Bordeaux vintage reporter for Jancis Robinson and Liv-Ex, and owner of Château Bauduc
Ps. Congratulations to the lucky random winner who received a £90 Bordeaux Wine Therapy Tasting Pack. All those attending/ completing the short survey received a copy of Part 1 of Wine Lister excellent and comprehensive Bordeaux 2020 report (normally priced at £150), packed full of analysis of the market and useful tips of chateaux to keep an eye on...
