The history of Domaine Hubert Brochard traces back to 1900 with Aimée and Hubert Brochard. Together, they worked the land with the help of just two draft horses until their son, Henri, joined the family venture. Too young to serve in the army but ready for farmwork, Henri played a pivotal role in transitioning the estate from mixed farming to a dedicated focus on vine cultivation. The next generation continued this legacy, with their son Daniel and his wife assuming management in the 1980s. Under Daniel's leadership, the domaine expanded its horizons, acquiring new vineyards in Chavignol and Sancerre, and refining its focus on producing terroir-driven wines.
In 2022, Domaine Hubert Brochard became part of Langlois-Château, a member of the Bollinger family group since 1973 and a notable Loire Valley wine producer with estates in Châteaux de Fontaine-Audon and Thauvenay. Today, the Brochard family and Langlois-Château are united by shared values: a commitment to quality, a deep passion for terroir, and a strong sense of family tradition.
