Of all the adventures we share with Club Members, none captures the spirit of Honest Grapes quite like the Hospices de Beaune Syndicate. Since our first barrel in 2019, it has grown into a flagship annual event, and we’re thrilled to launch our seventh Syndicate for 2025 – with perhaps our most exciting line-up yet.

This year’s élevage will be led by two of Burgundy’s brightest stars: Pierre Duroché on the reds and Charles Ballot (Ballot Millot) on the whites. Duroché’s wines are among the most coveted in Burgundy – “startlingly fine wines… of extraordinary precision” (Jasper Morris) – while Neal Martin praises their “miraculous” finesse. On the white side, Ballot is widely regarded as one of Meursault’s leading names, his wines described as “knock-out good” by Burghound’s Allen Meadows. Both domaines are virtually impossible to access on allocation, making their involvement a rare privilege.

How does it work?

Quarter-barrel shares are available (with personalisation), and full barrels can be arranged for those seeking something truly exceptional. Each share equates to 12x75cl (or equivalent in larger formats). This year we’re targeting a 1er Cru Red (Volnay or Pommard), a Meursault 1er Cru White, and the ever-popular Corton Grand Cru – with the possibility of a Côte de Nuits Super Grand Cru.

Members can also join us in Burgundy for the Hospices festivities in November – always a highlight of the calendar. To secure your allocation, an 80% deposit per share is requested, with the balance adjusted to the final auction price. Terms & Conditions
