Two of the whites come my favourite, and perennially undervalued, regions – a bracing Chablis from up-and-coming superstar Samuel Billaud and a brilliant example from the king of dry Loire Valley Chenin (Savennieres) made by Domaine Fournier Longchamps. Leeuwin Estate’s ‘Meursault-esque’ Art Series Chardonnay is simply sensational; you’d be hard pressed to find better Chardonnay anywhere in the world at this price.

The reds reflect my love of aromatic and elegant styles. Yves Cuilleron never fail to place in my top 3 at Rhone tastings, and 2020 is an epic vintage in the Northern Rhone. Spanish single varietal Garnacha (Grenache) is one of my more niche obsessions, and make an excellent accompaniment to summer barbecues – El Reventon took over theses vines from the esteemed Comando G, no one does Garnacha better for my money. Fromm’s NZ Pinot Noir are a recent discovery for me since joining Honest Grapes. Incredibly moreish New World fruit and perfume combined with Burgundian finesse - a stunning value wine I had no idea my life was lacking until now!
